The Green River Beekeepers hold monthly meetings on the third Thursday of each month. The 2026 meetings currently scheduled are listed below. More meetings will be posted when confirmed. All meetings this year will be held at the Taylor County extension office. For directions to the meeting location, just click on the underlined text. The meetings typically convene at 6:00 pm CST/7:00 pm EST.
- 1/15/26 The January meeting will be held in Taylor County.
- 2/19/26 The February meeting will be held in Taylor County with Wade Pike, Entomologist from UK, as guest speaker. His topic will be “Buzzing together: What the science says about honey bee and wild bee interactions.” We will also have time to discuss the items for new beekeepers after the presentation. Remember to check out the upcoming classes in and around here. They can be found on the state beekeepers webpage, kybees.org and you might as well join up while you are there.
